Songs of Rats is a single-player indie roguelike RPG, now available on PC for Windows and Linux, with full Steam Deck support. The game features two story campaigns, "Our Last Hope" and "Searching for Balance," each with unique events and objectives. A sandbox mode is also available, allowing players to explore the ever-changing maze of The Wreckage for 25, 50, or 100 days.

The game boasts around 300 unique events, with one save slot per mode (Campaign and Sandbox). It supports four languages: English, German, French, and Polish. The developers have improved balancing and added gamepad support for enhanced accessibility. To celebrate the launch, Songs of Rats is offered with a 40% discount on Steam.

For those interested in the game's lore, two optional DLCs are available: "Tales from the Shadows," an EPUB eBook featuring a short novel and three short stories, and "The Art of The Wreckage," a PDF artbook offering a detailed look at the game's concept art, world-building, and development process.

A playable demo of Songs of Rats is available until the end of the week, giving players the opportunity to try the game before purchasing.
