MUTAN Corporation and Story Note Inc. have announced the development of a mystery adventure game, "Sofia in Exchange for Lies," set to release in the spring of 2025. The game follows the story of Sofia, a girl with multiple personalities who is accused of murdering a presidential candidate. Players, as psychiatrist Philip, must interrogate Sofia and uncover the truth behind her memories and the case. The game features a unique input system for search keywords and surveillance camera interactions to progress the story.

The game's characters are designed by manga artist Hiro Kiyohara, with four distinct personalities of Sofia to discover. Each personality has its own secrets and past, which players must uncover through conversations and observations. The game will be fully voiced in Japanese, with Aoi Hinata playing all five roles.

"Sofia in Exchange for Lies" will be available on Steam for PC, with English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese language support. Players can now add the game to their wish list on the Steam store page. The game is developed by MUTAN Corporation and Story Note Inc., with character design by Hiro Kiyohara and Aoi Hinata as the voice actress. The release date and price are yet to be announced.
