SNEG Announces Dragonshard & Demon Stone's Steam Release: Get D&D Classics via Pay What You Want Humble Bundle

Pc Games Role Playing Game Action Game Indie Game Early AccessSNEG, Ltd., a publisher that specializes in reviving classic PC games, has announced the upcoming Steam release of two Dungeons & Dragons classics: Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard and Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone. These games will be available for Windows PC in mid-August 2025. Dragonshard is a real-time strategy game set in the Eberron campaign setting, where players can control units above ground and explore dungeons below. On the other hand, Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone is an action-RPG that features a pick-up-and-play combat system and a sprawling story by New York Times bestselling author R.A. Salvatore.
In addition to these releases, SNEG has also launched a Pay What You Want collection via Humble Bundle, which includes beloved Dungeons & Dragons games such as Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, and many more. This collection is available for a limited time, and it includes games from the Forgotten Realms, Krynn, and Dark Sun settings.
Dungeon & Dragons: Dragonshard was originally released in 2005 and will be re-released with modern-resolution support, localization-friendly saves and profiles, smoother timers and physics, ASLR compatibility, and other under-the-hood fixes for a cleaner experience on today's PCs. The game features a real-time strategy experience with an RPG-styled underworld, where players can control four ranges of units and experience unit development based on "Experience Points."
Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone was first released in 2004 and will be re-released with smoother startup and gameplay, proper widescreen scaling, borderless/windowed modes, optimized shadows, full XInput controller support with rumble and hot-plugging, adjustable audio, and a new in-game settings menu for modern PCs. The game features hand-to-hand battles, melee brawls, ranged and projectile power, and sexy stealth attacks.
