Today, Titan Forge Games has released SMITE 2 as a free-to-play game, following the end of its Closed Alpha stage. The game is now available for download on PS5, Xbox Series, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on Steam Deck. The free-to-play patch adds 5 new Gods to the playable roster, including Aladdin, Geb, Mulan, Agni, and Ullr. Aladdin, developed for SMITE 2, brings unique mechanics to the game, with the ability to run along walls and structures, and the Genie granting three powerful wishes throughout the game. The patch also introduces 'Joust', the fan-favorite 3v3 game mode, a brand new Arthurian-themed map, and an alpha version of the Assault game mode. SMITE 2 has undergone rapid cycles of implementing gameplay improvements during the Closed Alpha period, with the development team working diligently to take on board player feedback.
