Pc Games Sony Playstation Microsoft Xbox Action Game Indie Game Role Playing GameBokeh Game Studio, founded by game developer Keiichiro Toyama in 2020, has revealed the first gameplay trailer for its upcoming horror game, Slitterhead. The game is set to be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC on November 8, 2024, for $49.99. A physical PS5 Day 1 Edition will also be available in North America for $59.99, which includes a CD of original songs, an artbook, a sticker sheet, and a custom outer box.
Slitterhead is a battle action-adventure game set in the densely cluttered streets of Kowlong, where players take on the role of the "Hyoki," an entity devoid of memory and physical form. The only motive for the Hyoki is to eliminate the monstrous beings known as "Slitterheads" that are disguising themselves as humans in the city. Players must seek out allies among humans known as "Rarities," infiltrate and track dangerous organizations, and engage in battles using the power of blood.
The Hyoki's ability to possess and control human bodies at will allows for high-speed action and thrilling combat. Players can slip through barriers, assume the identity of specific individuals, and infiltrate dangerous areas and organizations. By rapidly switching hosts, they can also traverse the city at high speed. The cooperative relationship with "Rarities" holds the key to uncovering the deepening mysteries in the city of Kowlong.
Slitterhead is developed and published digitally on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS4™, and PS5™ by Bokeh Game Studio. The game will be rated M for “Mature” by the ESRB. Pre-orders for the Day 1 Edition on PS5™ will be available shortly on XSEED Games’ website and select retailers. For more information about Bokeh Game Studio, visit their official website and follow them on social media on X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
