Slime Rancher 2 Coming to PS5 on June 11, 2024: Pre-Purchase Now for Early Access

Monomi Park, the creators of the popular Slime Rancher franchise, has announced that Slime Rancher 2 will be available for PlayStation 5 on June 11, 2024. Players who pre-purchase the game can start playing early on June 7, 2024. The Slime Rancher Rainbow Bundle, which includes both Slime Rancher and Slime Rancher 2, is available for purchase at a 10% discount.

The PlayStation 5 version of Slime Rancher 2 includes all previous and future content updates at no additional cost. Players will also receive an exclusive in-game item, the Glo Glo Penguino, a lovable new Slime Toy that calms agitated slimes.

Slime Rancher 2 is set on Rainbow Island, a mysterious land with ancient technology, unknown natural resources, and new slimes to discover. Since the game entered early access in September 2022, Monomi Park has released multiple content updates, including a new unlockable territory, new slimes, a dynamic weather system, and creative tools and gadgets.

Slime Rancher 2 features a variety of new slimes, such as the bouncy Cotton Slime, the perky-eared Tabby Slime, and the mischievous Ringtail Slime. Players can collect plorts, the byproduct of slimes, and customize their Conservatory with new gadgets and upgrades.

Its flagship title, Slime Rancher, has received critical acclaim and has sold over six million copies across all platforms. Slime Rancher 2 launched into early access on September 22, 2022, and sold over 300,000 copies in the first week.
