Serenity Forge and Black Tabby Games have released a new edition of the critically acclaimed indie game, Slay the Princess. The Pristine Cut is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch for $17.99, and as a free update for PC players. This definitive edition includes three new routes, new princesses, expanded routes, a new ending, gallery mode, and new art and dialogue.

In Slay the Princess, players are on a path in the woods leading to a cabin with a princess in the basement. The mission is to slay her to prevent the end of the world, as she will use all means to stop the player. The game was first released in 2023, and the Pristine Cut brings new content to consoles for the first time.

Two physical editions, Standard and Collector’s, are available for purchase on the Serenity Forge store for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. Black Tabby Games, the indie studio that developed the game, was founded by Real Married Adults Abby Howard and Tony Howard-Arias, and their games tell stories at the intersection of horror and humor. Serenity Forge, the game's publisher, is based in Boulder, Colorado, and creates meaningful games that challenge the way players think.
