Indie Game Pc Games Early Access Role Playing Game Action Game

The indie game developer, 8BitSkull, has recently released a playable demo for their upcoming auto-battle dungeon crawler game, Skull Horde, on Steam. The game is expected to be released in 2025, with support for Steam Deck and Linux. In Skull Horde, players take on the role of a flying skull necromancer seeking revenge against their traitorous flesh and blood.

The game features roguelike runs that last approximately 20 minutes and are set in procedurally generated dungeons. Players must build their squad of undead minions, unlock powerful perks, and purchase new units to progress through the game. The demo features one full run in the Sewer biome, with multiple playable characters, units, loot, and builds available.

Skull Horde offers a unique gameplay experience, allowing players to channel their rage into creative necromancy. Players can merge units to create ultra-mega-strong versions of them and use loot found in the dungeons to gain a tactical edge. The game features procedurally generated dungeons, ensuring that builds must be constantly tinkered and tweaked to overcome enemy attacks.

The demo is currently available in multiple languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), and Simplified Chinese. To stay updated on Skull Horde, follow 8BitSkull on Twitter, join the official Discord, and visit the official website.
