Shishi: Timeless Prelude Coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Mobile in 2024

Pc Games Role Playing Game Indie GameShishi Studios, an indie game developer based in Montreal, Canada, has announced that their first game, Shishi: Timeless Prelude, will be coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Mobile storefronts in Q4 2024. The game, which is a turn-based dungeon crawler RPG, is currently available on Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). Players take on the role of Elia, a young mage who must explore a sacred sanctuary to complete her training and become an Oracle.
The game features cheerful turn-based battles with magical and non-magical abilities, as well as the coziness of adventure, including chests and vases to be opened for loot. Shishi: Timeless Prelude was designed with accessibility in mind, with customizable controls, a customizable game interface, and contrast options for visually impaired players.
The CEO and Game Designer of Shishi Studios, Frédéric McNamara, is passionate about accessibility in gaming and in the workplace for developers with disabilities. McNamara, who lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, has faced many challenges in pursuing his passions but believes these hardships have shaped the future of Shishi Studios and accessibility in gaming.
Shishi: Timeless Prelude is a single-player turn-based dungeon crawler RPG, where players will become Elia, a young mage who must explore the depths of a sacred sanctuary and complete her training to become an Oracle. The game features nostalgic and familiar gameplay callbacks, such as breaking vases for coins, defeating enemies to unlock doors, and opening chests to get loot.
