Neos Corporation, a subsidiary of Tecmira Holdings, has announced the global release of "Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town" on Steam and Nintendo Switch. The game, which has already been released in Japan and Asia, received the Visual Arts Excellence Award at the CEDEC AWARDS 2024. The title is available for $29.99/€29.99 on Steam and $39.99/€39.99 on Nintendo Switch, with a discounted bundle deal available on both platforms with the previous game in the series. Additionally, Limited Run Games will release a physical version of the game for Nintendo Switch in the U.S. and Europe.

"Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town" follows the Nohara family as they visit Akita, where Shin chan and his dog Shiro experience various things in a mysterious town. The game is suitable for all ages and genders, featuring the daily life of Shin chan in a charming rural setting. The Nintendo Switch Western (digital) version supports Japanese, English, Spanish, and German text, with Japanese audio.
