Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage Returns in Perfected Form for Steam and Nintendo Switch

CFK, a global game publisher, has announced that the eastern fantasy shoot'em up game, Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage, will be featured in the Tokyo Indie Games Summit 2024. Developed by Deerfarm, Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage is a vertically scrolling shoot'em up game that takes place in an Eastern setting, where players must avoid attacks from youkai and collect souls to defeat their enemies.

In collaboration with CFK, the team behind Shikhondo: Soul Eater is working to improve gameplay and add new modes to create the perfected version of the game. Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage will be released on Steam and Nintendo Switch™, with the Steam version planned for the first half of 2024.

The latest demo version of the game will be released during the Tokyo Indie Games Summit 2024, showcasing the game's new features and improvements. Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage features Korean folktales and legends, with new modes, a tutorial, and difficulty scaling to make the game accessible to all players.

Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage was well-received during the February 5th Steam Next Fest and is expected to continue to generate hype leading up to its release. Players can wishlist the game on its Steam store page to stay up-to-date on the latest news and information.
