Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has announced a new game called SHADOW LABYRINTH, set to release in 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC via Steam. The game is a 2D action-platformer inspired by the company's legendary arcade franchise and the PAC-MAN series.

SHADOW LABYRINTH features a new protagonist named Swordsman No. 8, who awakens on an alien planet and must consume to survive and become the planet's apex predator. The game draws inspiration from Bandai Namco's broader library of arcade games, and players can expect fluid combat, exploration, and challenging bosses.

The game is a departure from previous PAC-MAN games, where players take on the role of a new character in a mysterious world filled with mazes, enemies, and puzzles. As players progress, they will discover the secrets of the world and learn why PUCK, a mysterious figure, chose them for this task.

SHADOW LABYRINTH is being developed by Bandai Namco Studios, and more information about the game can be found on the official website. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe is a leading global publisher and developer of entertainment content, producing intellectual property for a global audience. The company is known for creating and publishing many top franchises, including PAC-MAN, TAMAGOTCHI, GUNDAM, TEKKEN, DARK SOULS, and ELDEN RING.
