Misc Games, the creators of the successful Fishing series, has announced the launch of its new game, Ships at Sea, in Early Access on Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game is priced at $24.99, with a 10% launch discount for the first week. Ships at Sea is a realistic boating experience set in the Norwegian Sea and around the harbors of Lofoten, Norway. The game features NVIDIA's WaveWorks water shader and Unreal Engine 5.4 for cinematic-quality water simulation and immersive gameplay.

Players can team up with up to four friends in multiplayer mode and take on various tasks and necessities. The game features various boating and fishing equipment brands to provide a realistic experience for enthusiasts. Players can build and improve their abilities through a series of skill levels and choose from different career paths, including cargo ships, service ships, and commercial fishing.

Ships at Sea offers stunning graphics, advanced gameplay features, and a multiplayer mode for players to experience the thrill of the high seas. The game features a dynamic weather system, customizable characters and boats, and a wide range of accessibility features. The PC version of Ships at Sea will be finalized and launched alongside the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions in 2026. Misc Games is a game development studio based in Stavanger, Norway, known for its popular titles, Fishing: Barents Sea and Fishing: North Atlantic. The studio aims to become a world leader in ship simulations.
