Set Sail for Seablip's Early Access Release on May 17th

Pc Games Indie Game Early Access Role Playing GameTønsberg, Norway-based solo developer Jardar Solli has announced that the Early Access launch of his open-world pirate adventure game, Seablip, will take place on May 17, 2024, to coincide with Norway's Constitution Day. The game is set to be fully launched in 2025, but players can start exploring, building, looting, fishing, and more from May 17th. Seablip is inspired by games like Faster Than Light and Sid Meier’s Pirates! and offers players the freedom to explore, build, fish, and engage in various minigames and activities.
Players can upgrade their ships, hire new crews, gather resources, engage in combat, and discover an ominous mystery in Seablip. The game has been successfully funded through Kickstarter, and a demo was released during the Steam Next Fest. Solli plans to release Seablip into early access this year while perfecting the game's mechanics and adding new features.
Seablip's soundtrack is composed by Christian Balvig, a Danish composer known for his work with various bands and ensembles, including Copenhagen Phil, The Royal Danish Orchestra, and Det Norske Blåsensemble. Balvig has also worked as a producer, film scorer, and composer for several documentary movies.
Jardar Solli is a self-taught coder and solo developer who has spent over 10,000 hours developing Seablip. After a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2020, Seablip is set to launch on Early Access in 2024 and aims for a full launch in 2025. Christian Balvig is a renowned composer and musician who has worked with various bands and ensembles and has composed the soundtrack for Seablip.
