Seed Lab, a Chinese game developer, has unveiled details about its upcoming life simulation game, Starsand Island, which is set to launch on PC and consoles in late 2025. The game offers players a variety of vehicles and activities to explore the island's lush pastures, woodlands, beaches, and seas. Players can customize their characters and vehicles, and even travel with NPC pals, pets, and real-life friends through the game's multiplayer feature.

Starsand Island features a rich customization system, including a vehicle modification system that allows players to paint their cars with new colors, add decals, wheel rims, and interiors. The game also offers extensive character customization, including facial features, skin tones, makeup, hairstyles, outfits, and accessories. Goltan Gao, Technical Director at Seed Lab, added that the team wants to make sure players are the true stars of their Starsand Island story, with the freedom to decide how their character looks, how they travel, and how they explore the island's landscapes.
