Early Access Free To Play Indie Game Pc GamesThe team-based shooter game, Second Wave, launched its Early Access on May 31, 2024, which was initially buy-to-play. However, the studio decided to make it free-to-play after receiving feedback from the community. The game is set on the continent of Armantia, and players can participate in the Early Access for free through a demo version that provides the full experience of the game.
The studio has also announced that players who have already purchased the game will receive 10,000 Crystals ($100 USD value) as a token of appreciation. This offer is also available to new players who purchase the game before it goes free-to-play. Additionally, players who purchase the game during the Early Access period will receive up to 2,800 Crystals ($30 USD value) as part of an ongoing event.
The official version of Second Wave will remain available for purchase until the end of the month for $30 USD, allowing players to support the game's development. The free-to-play Early Access version will offer the same experience as the official version, with the exception of the ongoing event, which is only available to players who purchase the game.
