Screen NSW Supports NSW Game Developers' GDC 2025 Travel with Up to $5,000

Pc Games Indie Game Early Access Action Game Role Playing Game Sports Strategy Virtual Reality Gaming Microsoft Xbox Sony Playstation Nintendo SwitchScreen NSW is offering up to $5,000 in travel support for up to five experienced game developers from New South Wales (NSW) to attend the 2025 Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, California. The GDC is one of the world's leading events for game developers, featuring conference events, exhibitions, networking opportunities, and awards. The program aims to provide NSW game practitioners with the chance to connect with business leaders and industry professionals, gaining valuable knowledge and connections to further their careers. To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum of three years of experience in the game development industry and a proven track record of success. Applications close on February 24, 2024, at 2 pm AEDT. This support follows Screen NSW's successful Gamescom 2024 Market Travel Program and GCAP 2024 Travel Support Programs, which provided similar opportunities for NSW developers. Head of Screen NSW, Kyas Hepworth, expressed her excitement for the program, highlighting the value of global connections and access to the latest technological advancements for NSW developers.
