Slitherine Software's turn-based strategy game, Scramble: Battle of Britain, has taken flight in Steam Early Access. The game focuses on the intense aerial battles of the 1940s, allowing players to command RAF and Luftwaffe squadrons in a dynamic 3D airspace. Realistic physics simulations and detailed planning create a strategic experience, with the Early Access version offering a Skirmish Generator and a comprehensive single-player mode.

Scramble features realistic damage simulations, with aircraft components and pilot traits adding depth to the gameplay. Players can engage in historically accurate combat missions, with updates planned to include the full Battle of Britain campaign, additional aircraft, enhanced AI behaviors, and multiplayer mode.

Player feedback is crucial in shaping Scramble's development, with regular updates and community engagement planned. Slitherine Software aims to keep the game in Early Access for approximately one year, refining it based on community input.

The Royal Aeronautical Society, the professional body dedicated to aerospace, aviation, and space communities, hosted the game's world premiere. Slitherine also released a series of Flight School videos and a documentary, "A Lens On: Battle of Britain," to accompany the game's launch.

Scramble: Battle of Britain promises an immersive, historically accurate aerial combat experience, with regular updates and community involvement ensuring a comprehensive and polished final release.
