RedDeer.Games has announced a new farming game with a magical twist, Ashwood Valley, which will be available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles later this year. In Ashwood Valley, players will assume the role of a magical child trying to save their sibling from being permanently transformed into a fluffy feline.

The game follows siblings Draco and Luna, who accidentally open a shimmering portal to another world while practicing magical spells. Upon crossing the threshold, one of them turns into a cat, and it's up to the player to explore Ashwood Valley, uncover its mysteries, and find a way to break the spell.

Players can choose which sibling to play, and the other will be transformed into a cat. The game features pixel-themed graphics and offers a farming experience with a magical twist. To save the sibling, players must fix up a ruined house, gather tools, and meet the interesting inhabitants of the tiny houses around the map.

The game offers various questlines and tasks for players to complete, including feeding and befriending wild animals that can be found running around in groups. Feeding the animals is essential to see their unique forms, such as mushroom chickens or strawberry cows.

Players can grow their own food in a garden and forage for goodies in the winter season when no planting can take place. The heart of the forest is a magical place where players can find out how to turn their sibling back to normal.

Ashwood Valley promises to be a unique farming game with a magical twist, offering players a chance to save their sibling and explore the mysteries of a new world. The game is set to release later this year on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles.
