Ruins To Fortress, an open-world survival craft game by indie developers Nimblebeasts, is now available in Early Access on Steam. The game, a passion project by Simon (Crimi) and Markus (Mago), offers a post-apocalyptic world where players must craft, build, defend, and survive in a multiplayer environment.

The game features pixel graphics and a blend of traditional survival elements with advanced technology. Players start with basic tools and progress through three workbench tiers to unlock advanced crafting. Base building includes lighting, resource storage, and food production, with the option to host dedicated servers or self-host.

Ruins To Fortress includes various weapon tiers, from bows to military-grade firearms, and armor progressing from primitive to military-grade. The game also features nuclear technology, which allows players to collect and assemble nuclear components for the ultimate power source.

The Early Access version offers exclusive skins for early players and DLC owners, as well as regular updates and a single optional DLC with skins and backwall tiles. The game is free-to-play throughout Early Access and after full release, with no in-game currencies.

The full release is expected within 12 months, and dedicated server providers will be available on release. The game will launch on December 13th, 2024, at 09:00 GMT, and players can stay up-to-date through the game's Steam page, Discord, X.com, website, and presskit.
