Pc Games Sony Playstation Role Playing Game Early Access2 Old 4 Gaming, an independent publisher specializing in video game books and magazines, has announced a Kickstarter campaign to fund the release of RPM - The Unofficial Retro PlayStation Magazine, Issue 3. The magazine focuses on celebrating the legacy of Sony's consoles, with a particular emphasis on discontinued PlayStation systems such as PS1, PS2, PS3, PSVita, and PSP.
Issue 3 of RPM will feature a spotlight on the Resident Evil series for PS1 and an exclusive interview with the designer of the PS1 classic title, MediEvil. The magazine will also include reviews of games from the PS+ Classics Catalogue and retrospectives of iconic PlayStation games. The Kickstarter campaign aims to raise funds for printing and distributing physical copies of the magazine to backers, with DRM-free digital copies of previous publications available as optional add-ons. Once the campaign is completed, and funds are processed, physical copies will be printed and distributed, with estimated postage beginning before the end of April 2024.
2 Old 4 Gaming plans to release three issues annually to avoid delays and maintain quality. The magazine will be A5 size, and distribution is estimated to start by late April for delivery in late May. The Kickstarter funds will also be used to promote the magazine through various gaming websites and YouTubers.
