Roots of Pacha, the Stone Age farming and life simulation game by Soda Den, has released its 1.3 update, Sun and Moon, which includes two new regions, characters, animals, and more. The update offers a significant content addition for mid and late gameplay.

In the Sun and Moon Update, players can explore the Mograni Mountains and Yakuan Islands, with three subregions each, learning new practices, rituals, and interacting with the neighboring Mograni and Yakuan cultures. New Ideas, mechanics, and hidden sigils that unlock new Pachan possibilities and unveil ancestral secrets are also part of the update.

The new regions introduce flora like Rye, Lentil Seeds, and Soaproot, and fauna like dodos and pandas. Players can foster coexistence by helping each clan develop their Ideas for growth, meet new characters, and participate in sun and moon festivals, playing "Dice" with the Mograni and performing music with the Yakuans.

The update also includes new trade options, outfits, raft fishing, and home decorations. Roots of Pacha's version 1.3 update is available for free on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5|4, and Xbox Series X|S and One with crossplay co-op support between all versions. The base game is on a 50% discount for one week.

Soda Den, an independent game studio based in the US and Argentina, prioritizes co-operative, meaningful play. Roots of Pacha, their first game, has sold over 300k units since its 1.0 release, with more updates to come.
