Pc Games Nintendo Switch Sony Playstation Early Access Indie GameRoots of Pacha, the co-op farming and life simulation game developed by Soda Den, is coming to Xbox One and Series X|S consoles on July 31, 2024, along with the launch of version 1.2 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5. This update adds full support for Korean and Traditional Chinese languages.
Version 1.2 introduces school-age as part of children's development, with newborn and toddler phases. Children can now attend School, where they develop personalities and discover professions they want to pursue. Each child's parentage, personality, and profession lead to unique dialog and gifts to earn.
The update also expands romance options, with new dialogue, Union reception options, and the ability to smooch beloved partners in the Union ceremony. Players can toggle the "Available to date" setting to disable dating advances from others. Customization options include new skin tones and hair colors, while new mount options include mammoths, spiders, cave lions, and wolves.
Pets can now fetch items from different areas, and the olla, a new watering Idea, can help save time. Quality-of-life improvements include intermediate saves, putting multiple items in processors at once, UI-free screenshots, and new sorting methods.
Roots of Pacha on Xbox One and Series X|S will have full feature parity and crossplay co-op support with other platforms. The game leads players to an age of peaceful prosperity, with new ideas and inventions like animal taming and cold storage.
Soda Den, an independent game studio based in the US and Argentina, developed Roots of Pacha. The game has sold over 200k units since its 1.0 release, with more updates to come. Roots of Pacha launches on Xbox One and Series X|S on Wednesday, July 31, for $24.99 / €22.99 / £19.99, with support for English, French, German, Portuguese - Brazil, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Korean, and Japanese languages. The version 1.2 update arrives on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox as a free update on the same day
