Down Smash Studios, an independent gaming studio based in Toronto, has announced Rodent Rumble, a chaotic and thrilling block party game set to launch on Steam in 2025. The game features Block Party Mode, where players can form a party of up to 8 to compete in fast-paced minigames against up to 30 players in a lobby. The objective is to outsmart opponents and be the last rodent standing in each round.

Rodent Rumble also features Rodent Royale, a battle royale mode where players can compete against rodents from around the world in ranked or unranked battles. Scurry Up mode is a speedrun challenge where players must platform their way up the tallest tree in the neighborhood.

Customization is a key feature in Rodent Rumble, with players able to unlock a variety of hats, goggles, facial hair, dance moves, and more to stand out in the neighborhood. The game also features PARKour, where players can explore neighborhood terrain, traverse walls, trees, rooftops, and strategize to ensure their squad reigns supreme.
