RIPOUT Launches May 28: Traverse Derelict Spaceships in Co-op FPS

3D Realms and Pet Project Games have announced that the co-op sci-fi horror FPS game, RIPOUT, will be launching out of Steam Early Access for PC on May 28, 2024. Players can explore abandoned spaceships filled with deadly mutant creatures, either alone or with a team of up to three other players. The game's unique feature is the Pet Gun, which allows players to harness the power of their enemies and use their biotech to destroy defenses.

The 1.0 release of RIPOUT will include eight new levels, a new Kill Zone objective type, improved balancing for enemy health and damage, and quality-of-life updates such as sensitivity settings for keyboard and controller, the ability to toggle ADS, and cloud saves.

RIPOUT is published by 3D Realms, a gaming company known for publishing iconic games like Duke Nukem, Terminal Velocity, Shadow Warrior, Death Rally, Max Payne, and more. Pet Project Games is an indie video game company founded in 2020 by seasoned developers with many years of experience in the gaming industry.
