Pistol Shrimp Games, founded by veterans of Toys for Bob, has released the classic science-fiction action-adventure game Free Stars: The Ur-Quan Masters on Steam. This game, renowned for its rich story and open universe, has inspired many visionaries in the video game industry. Players become the captain of the last human starship, with Earth trapped under a hostile forcefield, and must build their fleet, battle enemy starships, and explore thousands of alien worlds to save humanity.
Free Stars: The Ur-Quan Masters is set in a universe that has inspired games like Mass Effect, Subnautica, and Stellaris. It boasts a diverse cast of characters, from the cowardly Spathi to the enigmatic Orz, and features fast-paced space battles with 25 different starships.
