Resolution Games Unveils New Roguelite: GrimKeep - A Dice-Builder in a Grimdark Fantasy World

Resolution Games, the studio behind the Demeo digital fantasy tabletop series, has announced an upcoming project set in a grimdark fantasy world. GrimKeep, a roguelite dice-builder that utilizes dice combinations and unique items, is expected to launch later in 2025 for Steam, PlayStation, and other platforms.

GrimKeep is set in a world inspired by Lovecraftian horrors and Brothers Grimm’s fairytale characters, with a focus on desolation and despair. The game features hand-drawn visuals that could fit in a visual novel or roleplaying game.

Unlike Resolution Games' previous VR-focused titles, GrimKeep is designed with console, PC, and handheld devices in mind. The studio has been expanding its presence in these markets since the launches of Demeo on PC and PlayStation in 2021 and 2022, and the upcoming release of Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked.

GrimKeep aims to innovate and entertain, whether it's through immersive XR experiences like Spatial Ops or refreshing takes on established genres like roguelike deck builders.
