Resident Evil Invades Dead by Daylight's 2v8 Mode in Exciting Crossover Event

The popular 2v8 game mode in Dead by Daylight is collaborating with the survival horror game Resident Evil for a special event from February 10th to 25th, 2025. This mode will feature Resident Evil characters The Nemesis and The Mastermind as Killers, along with Dead by Daylight’s The Legion. The Raccoon City Police Department will also be a new Map for this event. All Resident Evil characters will be free to play exclusively in 2v8 Mode for the duration of the event.

New gameplay elements include The Nemesis and The Mastermind’s Powers, which revolve around their ability to infect and weaken Survivors. Herbs have also been adapted into a unique gameplay mechanic, with Green Herbs healing 1 Survivor Health State and Yellow Herbs healing 1 Hook State. To reduce Killer queue time, two Survivor Bots will be added to every lobby.

Dead by Daylight’s Resident Evil crossover has generated a lot of buzz, with nearly 30 years of games to draw from. On February 10th, six more classic looks will become available for Resident Evil characters.
