Resident Evil 2 Returns to Terrorize Apple Devices in 2024

Capcom announced that the Resident Evil 2 remake will be available for iPhone 16, iPhone 15 Pro, iPad, and Mac with the M1 chip or later on December 10, 2024. The game will support Universal Purchase and cross-progression, enabling players to switch devices seamlessly. A free download will be available for players to try a portion of the story before purchasing.

Resident Evil 2 on iPhone and iPad will have enhanced controls, a new Auto Fire feature, and compatibility with a range of controllers. The latest entries in the series, Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil 7 biohazard, are also available on compatible devices.

The remake of Resident Evil 2 is a reimagining of the classic survival horror game, featuring breathtakingly realistic visuals, immersive audio, and modernized controls. Players follow rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield as they navigate through Raccoon City, where a deadly virus has turned the city into chaos.
