WEBZEN, a South Korean game developer and publisher, has released a major update for its turn-based tactical RPG, REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM. This update focuses on unifying narrative and gameplay, with the core theme of Overcoming Darkness through Human Will. The Memolith, the foundation of the REMORE universe, now serves as the origin of the apocalyptic disaster and the means of resistance, affecting progression, exploration, and game mechanics.

A new mechanic, the Restoration Level, reflects the player's progress in reclaiming and rebuilding the Memolith. Expedition flow has shifted from linear stages to an open-ended structure, with over 10 new maps in the Pleasure District. The Hideout now functions as the game's operational heart, with new systems such as Memory Binding and Blacksmithing.

Two new playable characters, the Inquisitor Becket and the Shadow Sister Mienne, have been introduced. A new tutorial and player guide help players understand the gameplay approach, and UI/UX improvements enhance the game experience. The update also introduces the first giant boss, Olivia, and new game mechanics for multi-layered encounters.

REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM is a challenging turn-based tactical RPG set in a medieval apocalyptic infestation, available for PC via Steam or Epic Games Store in English and Korean. Black Anchor Studio, an Indie game studio based in South Korea, developed the game, and WEBZEN published it. Black Anchor Studio aims to create rewarding and meaningful game experiences that reflect the team's taste and identity as gamers.
