Regiments DLC 'Winds of Change' Out Now on Steam - New Regiments, Procedural Operations, and Heliborne Troops

MicroProse has announced the release of Winds of Change, a new downloadable content (DLC) for the real-time strategy game Regiments. The DLC brings a host of new content and systems to the game, including procedurally-generated Operations, new regiments, and air assets such as heliborne infantry.

The new War paths mode offers twisting, procedural campaigns that challenge players to navigate unpredictable war paths and lead their regiment through dozens of battles. Players can now choose to lead one of the many new French, Dutch, Canadian, or Czechoslovakian regiments, each with their own style of fighting. The addition of heliborne troops and fighter jets adds new tactical possibilities to the game.

The DLC includes more than 50 new vehicles and weapon systems, all meticulously modeled with detail. Bird's Eye Games, the development team behind Regiments, has been working on the game since 2016 and is known for developing RTS mods. MicroProse, a world-famous simulation software company, publishes the game. The company is known for developing groundbreaking classics and cult titles like Falcon, F15 Strike Eagle, Silent Service, Gunship, Grand Prix, Civilization, B-17 The Mighty Eighth, and X-COM series. Today, MicroProse continues to develop next-generation, state-of-the-art games that create memorable experiences for new generations of gamers.
