Red Rocket Defencism: Protect Ideology's Secret Weapon, Launching on Steam in 2025

Tiny Cactus Studio, an independent game developer based in Tokyo, has announced its latest game, Red Rocket Defencism, which is set to launch on Steam in 2025. The game is a base building strategy title where players assume the role of an East Varnakia officer responsible for protecting rockets under construction from attacks by capitalist enemies. The objective is to survive escalating waves of assaults for a set number of days to achieve victory.

Red Rocket Defencism features a variety of structures and units that players can purchase using Capital Tokens seized from the capitalists. These include bunkers, rocket launchers, soldier units, commissars, radio stations, penal units, human shields, and vodka bottles. Players can also build and upgrade facilities to enhance specific weapons and soldiers, adding a layer of deck-building strategy.

The game includes a secret police feature that allows players to find anti-revolutionary moles and decide their fate. Players will also receive a sentient automaton, Elyusha, who can educate and instruct enemies in the ways of East Varnakia's superior ideology.

Red Rocket Defencism is set to launch on PC via Steam in 2025. The Steam page is now open, and players can watch the trailer on YouTube. The developer has promised to share more updates leading up to the launch on the Steam page and Twitter.
