Barcelona-based solo developer Evan Tor Games is excited to announce that their metroidvania game, Rebel Transmute, will be released on Steam on March 11th, 2024. The game will also be available on Xbox One & Series, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Nintendo Switch on March 14th. Gamers who are interested in playing the game before its launch can request a press or content creator key.

In Rebel Transmute, players can take on challenges in their own style by swapping game-changing upgrades. The game offers a wide range of unique upgrades that cater to every play style, whether players prefer an aggressive approach or a more strategic way of playing. The sprawling pixel-art world of Rebel Transmute is packed with dangerous bosses and creatures, and features breathtaking vistas ranging from the vibrant vegetation of Overgrowth to the fluorescent reefs of the Coral Fissure and the crystal-covered Surface, glowing with sparkling blood.

The game features over 80 unique enemies and over 8 formidable bosses, and players can discover game-changing abilities and augment their playstyle with more than 40 optional upgrades. Rebel Transmute also boasts a vast map with different biomes and an unabashedly personal and heartfelt story told in a modern sci-fi setting. The game will be available for $19.99 or 19.99 € on all platforms.
