KEMCO has announced the release of the horror adventure game, Matsuro Palette, for Xbox consoles, PlayStation 5/4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. The game, developed by SleepingMuseum, has already gained over 4 million downloads on smartphones. Players can pre-order the game on the Microsoft Store and Nintendo eShop with a 10% discount.

Matsuro Palette features a protagonist trapped in a gloomy studio for seven days, with the task of contending with a cursed painting of a girl to survive. Players must rely on notes from past victims and manage to successfully paint her portrait, ensuring not to upset her to avoid an unfortunate fate. The game contains horror elements but does not have any jump scares or heart-pounding scenes, making it less intense for players.

The game has received age ratings from ESRB Teen for Blood and Violence and PEGI 12 for Horror and Moderate Violence. The release date for the major update on Steam is set for November 15, 2024.
