Portside Game Assembly: Exclusive B2B Indie Game Conference in Hamburg

Portside Game Assembly, a new B2B conference for international indie game leaders, is set to take place in Hamburg on June 27, 2025. The conference will be held on a ship sailing through the port of Hamburg and will feature keynotes, short talks, and roundtables. The event is curated, and only studio heads and decision-makers from established indie game studios are eligible to attend.

Benjamin Laulan, Co-Founder of Evil Empire, will give a keynote on the Triple-i Initiative and how to create an announcement space and talk directly to the audience. Philomena Schwab, Founder of Stray Fawn Studio & Publishing, will give a short talk about ways for game idea validation.

Some of the participating studios include Evil Empire, Stray Fawn Studio, The Game Kitchen, Toukana Interactive, Ghostship Publishing, Landfall Games, Chasing Carrots, Foulball Hangover, and Siege Camp.

In addition to the conference, Portside Game Assembly will also host a Networking Brunch and Games Industry Party. The Networking Brunch will take place at the "Alte Liebe" restaurant in Hamburg's HafenCity, while the Games Industry Party will be held on the MS Stubnitz in HafenCity.

Studio heads and decision-makers from established indie game studios can register for participation at Portside Game Assembly using the registration form on the Portside Game Assembly website. Tickets for the Networking Brunch and Games Industry Party are now available for purchase. The conference ticket includes access to the Opening Mixer, Networking Brunch, main Conference, and Games Industry Party for a total of 189 euros plus fees & VAT.

The event is organized by Gamecity Hamburg, a subsidiary of Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft, which supports the games industry in Hamburg. Photos and graphics for editorial use are available on the Portside Game Assembly website.
