Portal Games, a renowned board game publisher, has announced that it will end its partnership with GTS Distribution for the North American market, as of December 1, 2024. The collaboration, which began in 2015, was instrumental in distributing popular games like Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island, Detective: A Modern Crime Board Game, and Imperial Settlers across the region.

Portal Games will now work with alternative distributors, including PSI (Publisher Services Inc.), ACD Distribution, and others, to ensure the seamless distribution of its catalog in the North American market. This shift in strategy will enable Portal Games to concentrate on collaborations with distributors who have a strong understanding of its games and brand.

Ignacy Trzewiczek, CEO of Portal Games, expressed gratitude towards GTS Distribution for their support over the years and emphasized the company's commitment to creating captivating board games that tell compelling stories. Portal Games, established in 1999, has built a reputation for its critically acclaimed titles, such as Robinson Crusoe, Detective, and Neuroshima Hex, making it a significant player in the European tabletop gaming industry.
