Polyarc Announces Visual & Gameplay Updates for Moss Games on Quest 3S

Polyarc, the creator of the popular Moss franchise, has announced that it will release free visual and gameplay updates for both Moss and Moss: Book II to celebrate the launch of Meta Quest 3S. The update, which will be available on the Meta Quest Store for Quest 3 and Quest 3S, will bring significant visual improvements to Moss, including color correction and lighting adjustments, as well as the ability to skip combat in both games.

The update aims to enhance the gameplay experience for those who aren't used to combat or who don't enjoy it, making Moss and Moss: Book II more accessible to a wider audience. The new feature allows players to bypass all combat or just some of it, providing a more relaxed, narratively driven puzzle-platformer experience.

The visual improvements in Moss include rendering the game at 150% of its original resolution, which will bring the game's visuals in line with Moss: Book II. The update will also bring realistic water and animated book pages, among other visual effects.

Moss and Moss: Book II are available on the Meta store with a 25% temporary discount using the code "MOSSONQUEST-4CF439" at checkout. The free update will be available when Meta Quest 3S launches. Polyarc is a Seattle-based studio founded in 2015 to explore the creative possibilities of virtual and augmented reality. Its first game, Moss, has received more than 100 global industry awards and nominations, while its sequel, Moss: Book II, has won multiple major industry awards.
