Pixelated Milk, the independent studio behind Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs and WARSAW, has recently made the playtest for their upcoming RPG, SacriFire, available on Steam. This playtest offers players a first look into the game's unique combat system, captivating pixel art, and music by the renowned composer Motoi Sakuraba, known for his work on Dark Souls, Eternal Sonata, and the Tales of series.

SacriFire follows the story of Ezekiel Ridan, a young priest and soldier in training for the elite sect of the Church of Sheol. Set in the underground city of Antioch, Ezekiel's mission is to protect the city from demons. However, he soon becomes entangled in a much larger conflict between gods and demons, a struggle that has been raging for millennia.

The SacriFire playtest includes one main story quest, three side quests, two major locations, six smaller locations, one boss, a variety of enemies, and a mini-game called Moligmania. The playtest will be available until June 24th, 2024. SacriFire is expected to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
