Shueisha Games, a prominent independent video game publisher, has announced that the demo for their much-anticipated psycho-detective game, Urban Myth Dissolution Center, will be available to play until the end of October. The demo was successfully unveiled during the Steam Next Fest and consistently ranked in the top 30 for wishlists, demo downloads, and trending out of 3,000 demos. Urban Myth Dissolution Center has garnered positive reviews from critics, surpassing 100,000 wishlists during the festival.

Players assume the role of Azami Fukurai, a rookie psycho-detective at the Urban Myth Dissolution Center, who has the ability to see the memories of places through her glasses. The demo, which lasts for approximately 1.5 hours, showcases the first episode of the game, introducing players to Azami's colleagues, Jasmine and Ayumu Meguriya, and presenting a mysterious case for players to solve.

Urban Myth Dissolution Center is set to launch on February 13, 2025, on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5, supporting multiple languages. Hakababunko, a talented group of Japanese game creators, developed the game, known for their expertise in crafting mystery and adventure games with distinctive pixel art. Shueisha Games, founded in February 2022, is responsible for planning, development, and sales of various titles for consoles, PCs, and smartphones.
