Pc Games Free To Play Early Access Indie Game Action Game

LINE Games' much-anticipated title, Ember and Blade, is now available for free download on Steam and Steam Deck. The game, which combines hack-and-slash combat, survival-horde pacing, roguelite progression, and soulslike challenge, allows players to take on the role of Fenrix Haven, a former human turned immortal demon hunter. The demo supports both keyboard and mouse and controller inputs, with controller play highly recommended.

Players can look forward to a vertical-slice build at Steam Next Fest this fall, featuring progression systems, new stages and bosses, enhanced weapon mechanics, and live community events. Later this year, the game will enter Steam Early Access with larger-scale updates, balance adjustments, and fresh content drops. The full game is set to launch globally on Steam and Steam Deck in 2026, with console versions under consideration.

Ember and Blade features relentless horde combat, where players can wield a sword and blessings to cleave through ever-evolving demon waves, punishing mini-bosses, and towering stage bosses.
