Jason Della Rocca, a games industry specialist and entrepreneur, will head the jury of a pitch competition at gamescom latam 2024. The competition is open to Latin American game studios, who can register on the official gamescom latam website before May 5th. To be eligible, studios must be legally registered, have an original game project that is not free-to-play, and is intended for PC or console platforms. At least five studios will be selected to present their pitch on the gamescom latam stage, with the goal of convincing the jury to invest in their project.

The gamescom latam event will take place from June 26th to 30th, 2024, at São Paulo Expo. Tickets are available for single visits on specific days or as a combo for all four days. There is also a social ticket option, which includes a R$10 donation to AbleGamers Brasil, an NGO that promotes accessibility through games.

gamescom latam is organized by Koelnmesse, Omelete Company, BIG Festival, and licensed by game. The event is an extension of gamescom, the world's largest computer and video games event and Europe's largest business platform for the gaming industry. In addition to gamescom latam, Koelnmesse also organizes gamescom in Cologne, Germany, and gamescom asia in Singapore.
