Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage Demo Drops Anchor on Steam

Fabled Game has announced that Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage, the sequel to the popular card-based game Pirates Outlaws, will be released for PC and mobile platforms in Q3 2025. The company has also released a demo for the game on Steam. The original Pirates Outlaws was a huge success, with over 3 million downloads and a 4.6-star rating on Android.

Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage will feature various characters to play as, with each character having multiple classes and unique ability cards. Players can also recruit animal companions, which will add unique cards to their starter deck. The game will have a papercraft-style visual overhaul and will offer upgradeable cards.

Pirates Outlaws 2 is a swashbuckling roguelike deckbuilder where players collect and fuse cards, gather powerful relics, and adapt their strategy during each run. Players can become a reputed pirate, loot the Sea Masters, challenge giant creatures, and triumph in the great Arena. The game features turn-based combat, and players can freely explore the map, navigate between battles, revisit islands, stop by taverns, or trade at markets.

Fabled Game Studio, the developer of Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage, is a Chinese indie game studio dedicated to creating community-driven experiences that unite players through passion and creativity. The studio focuses on accessibility and engaging game design and strives to break barriers in gaming by crafting experiences that welcome all types of players.
