Phantom Spark Revs Up for August 15 Release: Master High-Speed Racer in Single & Multiplayer Modes

Coatsink and Ghosts are thrilled to announce the release of their fast-paced racing game, Phantom Spark, which will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on August 15th. The game is inspired by classic high-speed racers like Trackmania, WipeOut, F-Zero, and Thumper, and challenges players to achieve the best times while racing through surreal architectural landscapes.

Phantom Spark features a full single-player campaign where players must compete against domain champions, as well as a split-screen multiplayer mode for up to four players. Global online leaderboards will allow players to compete against each other and set record-breaking times.

The game includes a ghost opponent feature, which allows players to compete against the current best time and improve their racing line, finding those extra fractions of a second that can make all the difference. With instant restarts, players can stay in the rhythm and refine their times on each pathway.

Joo Van Hove, Design & Developer of Ghosts, said, "For three years the leaderboards have been just us, friends and testers. I’m excited about what strategies players will find, and seeing the responses to the design of the world and the pathways. We (the developers) are reserving our internal competition until after launch, and seeing if we can even make it into the top 10.”
