Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate Reveals Opening Movie and New Features

Rocket Panda Games has unveiled the opening movie for the upcoming game, Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate (PBBGU), which will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles starting February 13, 2025. The game is a reworked version of the original game, launched a decade ago, and has been rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, offering improved gameplay, cross-platform support, and new multiplayer features.

PBBGU will feature new main characters and will allow players to play as the enemy for the first time. The game is set to launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on February 13th, 2025. Players can already wishlist the game, and pre-order the North American Standard ($39.99), and Ultimate ($109.99) physical editions.

Rocket Panda Games will host an exclusive media presentation via Discord on January 23, 2025, to introduce the new multiplayer features and more. The Phantom Breaker series started out as a 2D fighting game in 2011, and the beat'em up spin-off, “Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds” was published in 2013. Rocket Panda Games acquired the Phantom Breaker IP in June 2022 and is committed to maximizing the series’ potential for fans around the world.
