Petricore, a leading XR and game development studio, has announced its upcoming mixed-reality roguelite fantasy role-playing game, Mythic Realms, which will be available on Meta Quest later in 2024. The game transforms the player's physical space into a fantastical adventure, where creatures can climb on furniture and emerge from walls.

Mythic Realms offers a unique experience, allowing players to physically play out an RPG adventure, journeying into new encounters, battling mighty foes, gathering resources, and improving their character with each play session. Each expedition is unique, and players can choose how they engage with the adventure around them.

The game features roguelite expeditions in mixed reality, where players can seamlessly blend their reality with a mythical realm. Players can bring gathered resources back to their kingdom, meet a cast of characters, take on quests, and develop new gear to prepare for their next adventure.

Mythic Realms offers a variety of enemies and epic room-scale boss fights, including a ferocious Dragon that lands on walls and breathes fire down into the room. Players can choose from three classes and make use of nine unique weapons, upgrading them during expeditions.

Mythic Realms will be playable on Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest Pro and is available to pre-order now on the Meta Store with a 10% bonus discount for $17.99.
