The game will feature couch co-op, allowing players to play together on the same PC or console using two controllers. This new feature, along with cross-play and cross-progression, will bring the console version of the game into the same realm as the PC version.
Path of Exile 2 has a redefined controller experience, with dual stick controls, a new binding system, and a redesign of inventory management. The game is also made easier for new players to explore and understand the deep mechanics of the game, with simplified mechanics, skill tutorial videos, and a new help system.
The game will feature full cross-play and cross-progression on all supported platforms, allowing players to play with their friends on other platforms or move from console to PC without losing any progress. The launch and all updates will ship simultaneously with the PC version.
Path of Exile 2 is a next-generation Action RPG that features twelve character classes, each with its own three Ascendancy specializations, over a hundred bosses, 240 Skill Gems, and 100 endgame maps. The game will be available in Early Access on PC, macOS, Xbox Series X & S, and PlayStation 5 by the end of 2024.
