Pc Games Role Playing Game Nintendo Switch Indie GameEastasiasoft Limited has partnered with Japanese developer and publisher Idea Factory to bring the dungeon RPG Tokyo Clanpool to Nintendo Switch and Steam in 2024, localized in English and Traditional Chinese for the first time. This collaboration follows the success of Moero Crystal H, Seven Pirates H, Mugen Souls, Mugen Souls Z, and Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom.
Tokyo Clanpool is a first-person dungeon crawling RPG developed by Compile Heart. Players navigate maze-like dungeons and engage in strategic turn-based combat against monsters. The story follows a team of young girls known as the Diet Dolls, led by newly inaugurated Prime Minister Natsume Kannuki, as they attempt to stave off a growing threat from a mysterious tower connected to Japan’s National Diet Building.
Physical editions for Nintendo Switch will be available to pre-order through online retail partner Playasia on July 4th at 11:00pm Hong Kong time (11:00am ET / 8:00am PT / 4:00pm UK). Only 3000 Limited Editions will be produced, including the game, manual, soundtrack CD, art book, sticker sheet, poster, and numbered certificate in a collector’s box. Standard copies will also be available as an open pre-order.
In Tokyo Clanpool, players take on the role of the young Prime Minister of Japan and her moe cabinet members, navigating maze-like dungeons in first-person perspective and engaging in turn-based combat. Special attacks like Sacred Union can be used to gain the upper hand against powerful monsters. Players can also alter the structure of dungeons by breaking walls, floating, or digging tunnels. Customization is key, with the use of different Digiskins to change characters’ skills and abilities. Keeping an eye on citizens’ approval ratings is also essential, as favorable actions can earn valuable bonuses, while low ratings could lead to the entire cabinet resigning.
