Indie Game Early Access Pc Games Role Playing GameOn June 3rd, 2025, indie game developer Ola Persson, a seasoned veteran in the gaming industry, is set to premiere the beta version of his latest project, Paris Transylvania, during Steam Next Fest's June 2025 edition. The game is a roguelike deckbuilder with a hand-drawn gothic art style and pachinko-inspired gameplay, featuring mechanics from Peggle, Peglin, and Slay the Spire. It is set for a full release in fall 2025.
Paris Transylvania invites players to collect a powerful deck of cards, strategize, and aim to pop pegs to power up and deal massive damage with relic synergies. Players can choose from three unique heroes, each with their own abilities and personalized starter deck, to conquer Transylvania and free the people from the vampire menace.
The game offers dynamic deckbuilding, where players can create a unique deck by choosing cards wisely to defeat wicked creatures and vampire bosses. The pachinko-style gameplay allows for strategic shots to power up cards and maximize damage. Powerful relics can be uncovered to amplify the player's build and shake up every run. The ever-changing maps of Transylvania shift with every journey, offering new paths, surprises, and unique bosses each time.
Magneticlake, the indie game duo behind Paris Transylvania, is based in Sweden and consists of Ola Persson and narrative designer Charlotta Bendz. With past work on Microsoft Flight Simulator, Miniclip, DICE, and over 30 mobile titles, Paris Transylvania marks Ola's first full Steam release.
