Parasite Pack Brings Lowtek Games' NES Trilogy to NGage in CIB Edition

Lowtek Games is releasing a physical edition of their Parasite Pack for the NGage system. The pack includes three games that were originally released on the NES: FLEA!, FLEA!2, and Tapeworm Disco Puzzle. These games have gained popularity on other retro platforms and are also available on modern consoles. The NGage version of the games has been adapted to fit the system's portrait screen and will run in 1:1 pixel aspect ratio.

The Parasite Pack is the first physical release for the NGage in nearly 20 years, and Lowtek Games has created ads for the games in the style of the UK NGage ad campaign. The pack will be available for £35 plus shipping and will be limited to 100 copies for the first run.

The physical edition includes a game case with a laser-cut foam insert, a game card with a holographic sticker, an 8-page full-color manual, and an end seal holographic strip. The game card contains the games FLEA!1, FLEA!2, Tapeworm, wallpapers and ringtones from the games, and the normal NES roms of the games.

Lowtek Games chose to release the Parasite Pack on the NGage because they wanted to help grow the NGage homebrew community, similar to other retro systems. The pack will also be available on the NES and Dreamcast. The release date for the Parasite Pack is April 1, 2025, and it can be pre-ordered on the Lowtek Games Etsy page.
