Owlcat Games, known for their work in RPG development and publishing, in collaboration with Emotion Spark Studio, have unveiled the first trailer for their upcoming narrative RPG, Rue Valley. The game follows a man trapped in a time loop, confronting mental challenges and complex emotional stories of characters he encounters. Players can experiment with the protagonist's personality and actions, as the time loop resets, allowing them to uncover the secrets behind the anomaly causing the time loop.

Rue Valley features a 2D parallax artstyle inspired by Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Disco Elysium. Players can store important memories in a graph, unlocking unique interactions and new mindsets to develop the main character. The game is set to share more details during gamescom 2024, with a press kit available for interested parties.

Owlcat Games, founded in Cyprus, is an international company with more than 450 employees. Emotion Spark Studio, based in Belgrade, Serbia, consists of industry veterans with experience in project design, development, management, and delivery.
